The problem

Most GA4 plugins either fire a pageview and stop, or bury everything behind a tag manager configuration that nobody on the team can maintain. Content grouping in particular is the thing that makes GA4 reports useful on a content site, and almost nothing sets it up for you.

What this plugin does

Handles GA4 and GTM setup, content grouping, engagement tracking, and WooCommerce ecommerce events. This site runs it, which is the only honest way to recommend a plugin.

Installing it

TODO download from the repo, upload, activate, and note where the settings live.

Hooks and filters

Filters for the data layer payload and the content group logic.

/**
 * Example filter. Replace with the real ones.
 */
add_filter( 'brs_example_filter', function ( $value ) {
    return $value;
}, 10, 1 );

Requirements and support

This is free software published under the GPL and it comes with no support obligation. Bugs go in GitHub issues. If you need it modified for your site, that is paid work.
